What is my Business Worth? A Guide to Determining the Sale Price of Your Business   When contemplating the sale of a business, the first question business owners ask themselves is, “What is my business worth?”   That is always the question, top of mind. How do you figure this out? Begin the pricing process by conducting a comprehensive financial analysis of your business. Examine the company's financial statements, cash flow, and profitability over the past few years. This analysis forms the foundation for determining the value of your business and helps potential buyers assess its financial health.   Be honest and accurate.   Estimates or “off the cuff” answers will lead to an inaccurate valuation and buyer distrust.   Business Valuation Methods: There are several methods for valuing a business, each with its own strengths and limitations. What does Mel Vaz have in common with Elon Musk and Warren Buffett?

I can't disagree with Elon Musk and Warren Buffet. "Back in 2009, at the tail end of the Great Recession, Buffett said at Berkshire Hathaway’s annual shareholder’s meeting that one of the best ways to protect against inflation is to own a part of “a wonderful business.” That’s because no matter what happens with the value of the dollar, the business’ product will still be in demand." Congratulations to Rajib and Harin on a successful closing for a Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa franchise! Rajib, it was a pleasure working with you on this third purchase in three years. I wish you nothing but success and know you have a solid game plan for growth as we enter 2021. Harin, I wish you all the best in your new ventures and relocation out of state. At least there is one less thing to worry about.  Thank you for the opportunity to sell your business. Although the three of us have been discussing this for some time, once we came to an agreement, this deal was closed in less than 30 days. Record time! This was largely due to a very cooperative and transparent buyer and seller as well as a helpful and responsive franchise. Even though we are in the midst of a terrible pandemic, business must continue. There are fantastic deals on the market right now. If you are willing to take a risk, you may look back 10 years from now and realize that you made the deal of a life...
