Every deal has a story. This one started in February of this year. As Covid cases began to ramp up in New York this deal was cancelled. The seller was uncertain about her ability to start her next venture and decided to keep the business. We all stayed in touch and fortunately Covid cases came down toward the end of spring and we were able to put this deal back together.

There is a long history here. I actually sold this business to Stephanie's father over 13 years ago. Over the years, he gave the business to Stephanie and then it was time for her to move on.

Rehan, the buyer, was in the passenger transport industry and wanted to find a business that was more recession proof and Covid resistant. This was the perfect fit, an essential business.

There is still a lot of fear out there and rightfully so. The good news is that there may be a light at the end of the tunnel and I am truly confident that 2021 will be a much better year for everyone. It can't get worse, right?
